Gil Garduño, the person behind the blog, was born in a place called Peñasco, New Mexico. When he was younger, he joined the United States Air Force. He lived in different places, like Boston, Massachusetts and Mississippi.
How the Blog Started
In 1995, Gil Garduño moved back to New Mexico. He and his wife started exploring all the local restaurants. This gave him the idea to start his blog. He wanted to share his experiences and help others find great places to eat.
