Giorgos Kapoutzidis (pronounced Yor-gos Ka-poo-tzi-dis) is a famous Greek screenwriter and actor. He was born on July 31, 1972, in Serres, Greece. He is well-known for creating some of the most popular TV shows in Greek history, like Saturdayborn, In the nick of time, and Greek National. These shows were so loved that the final episode of In the nick of time was watched by 3 million people!
Giorgos has won several television awards for his amazing writing, especially for Saturdayborn and Sto Para Pente. He has also been a commentator for the Eurovision Song Contest for Greek TV (ERT) many times, and he even helped write what the presenters said for the show in 2006. From 2013 to 2022, he often commented on Eurovision alongside radio host Maria Kozakou.
