Girl vs. Boy is a fun New Zealand TV show for teenagers. It's a teen situation comedy, which means it's a funny show about everyday life for teens. The show was filmed in Seatoun, Wellington and made by KHF Media, NZ on Air, and TVNZ.

The story starts in a perfect, friendly neighborhood called The Bay. A big breakup happens between Hailey (Carolyn Dando) and Tim (Josh McKenzie). This event divides the whole community. Maxine (Courtney Abbot) steps in to help. She calls herself a 'love-detective.' Her mission is to figure out what happened, fix the problem, and bring the community back together.

In the second season, The Bay wants to win a competition. It's about being New Zealand's happiest suburb. Everyone tries hard to make Maxine and Jack look like the perfect happy couple. This way, they can be the face of the campaign. This time, Maxine's own love life becomes a big public topic. It's even shown on national TV!

For the third season, a new principal arrives at school. She wants to separate girls and boys. Maxine and her friends must find out why the principal is doing this. They also need to learn about her past with the people of The Bay. A school camp is a very important event. Student elections also take place. Max, Olaf, Grayson, and Gina all run for a position.
