In the same year, he started working closely with Alberto Simonini. Simonini was the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications. Amadei became his private secretary and led his office.
Becoming a Deputy
After Minister Simonini passed away in 1960, Giuseppe Amadei became a member of the Italian Parliament. He served as a Deputy for a very long time. He was in office for eight "legislatures," which means eight periods of time that the parliament was active. He served until 1989.
