Giuseppina Projetto facts for kids
Giuseppina Projetto-Frau (born May 30, 1902 – died July 6, 2018) was an Italian woman who lived for a very long time. People who live to be over 110 years old are called supercentenarians. Giuseppina was the oldest person living in Italy after July 13, 2017. She was also the oldest person born in Italy after April 15, 2017. This is because the previous oldest person, Marie Josephine Gaudette, was born in the United States.
Giuseppina Projetto was born in a place called La Maddalena. In 1946, she married Giuseppe Frau. He was a widower, meaning his first wife had died, and he already had three children. Giuseppina lived in Tuscany with her daughter-in-law and her grandchildren. She passed away on July 6, 2018, when she was 116 years old.
