The Honourable Griselda "Gizzi" Maxwell Erskine (born on August 20, 1979) is a well-known English chef and TV star. She is famous for her delicious recipes and fun cooking shows. Gizzi has shared her love for food through many TV appearances and cookbooks.

About Gizzi Erskine

Gizzi Erskine was born in Wandsworth, a part of London, England. Her mother, Maria Josephine, was a model and actress. Her father was Iain Maxwell Erskine. Gizzi is one of three daughters in her family, and all of them were born in Wandsworth.

Gizzi's Journey in Cooking

Gizzi Erskine started her cooking journey by training at the famous Leiths School of Food and Wine in London. This is where she learned many of the skills that made her a successful chef.

TV Shows and Appearances

After her training, Gizzi quickly became a familiar face on television. She hosted two seasons of Channel 4's popular cookery show Cook Yourself Thin. In 2011, she also presented Cookery School, another Channel 4 daytime program.

Gizzi has appeared on many other TV shows, sharing her cooking tips and recipes. She has been on ITV1's This Morning and Sky1's Taste. She also co-hosted Drop Down Menu on Channel 4 with Matt Tebbutt. You might have also seen her on Cooks To Market and Iron Chef on Channel 4.

In July 2013, Gizzi joined The Sunday Times newspaper. She became the Sunday Times Cook for their weekly magazine, sharing new recipes and food ideas with readers every week.
