Early Life and Family
Glória Menezes was born in a city called Pelotas. This city is located in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Her real first name, Nilcedes, is special. It was created by combining parts of her parents' names. Her father's name was José Nilo, and her mother's name was Mercedes.
When Glória was six years old, her family moved to São Paulo. There, she studied at the University of São Paulo's School of Dramatic Arts. This is where she learned how to act. She also helped start a theater group. It was called "Jovens Independentes," which means "Young Independents."
Starting Her Acting Journey
