Glenreagh is a small, friendly town in New South Wales, Australia. It's located in the beautiful Clarence Valley region. In 2021, about 562 people called Glenreagh home.
This town has an interesting history with trains! The main railway line reached Glenreagh in 1915. Later, a special branch line opened in 1924, connecting Glenreagh to Dorrigo. This line was very scenic but hard to keep running because of the mountains and heavy rain. It closed in 1972. Now, there are plans to reopen part of it as a fun heritage railway for tourists! This project is being worked on by the Glenreagh Mountain Railway.
