Godrich Gardee is a well-known South African politician. He is currently the Deputy President of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF). The EFF is a political party in South Africa.
Mr. Gardee started his journey in politics in 1985. He studied accounting and auditing national parks. This education helped him in his career.

Early Career and Roles
Godrich Gardee has held important roles in the EFF. From December 2014 to December 2019, he served as the Secretary-General. This is a key leadership position in a political party.
After his term, Marshall Dlamini took over as Secretary-General. Mr. Gardee also served as a Member of the National Assembly of South Africa. He was a Member of Parliament (MP) from May 2019. He left this role in February 2020.
Becoming Deputy President
In December 2024, Godrich Gardee was elected to a new role. He became the Deputy President of the Economic Freedom Fighters. This shows his continued importance in the party. He works alongside the party's president, Julius Malema.
