Gordon's functional health patterns facts for kids

Kids Encyclopedia Facts

Gordon's functional health patterns are a special way that nurses understand a person's health. A nurse named Marjory Gordon created this method. It helps nurses get a full picture of how someone is doing. They look at different parts of a person's life to see what helps them stay healthy.

Nurses ask questions and do medical examinations. This helps them learn about a person's health habits. It also shows how they reached their current level of health.
