In 1976, Gordy joined a punk band from Belfast called Rudi. He played with Rudi for three years. After leaving Rudi, he continued his musical adventures. He played with several other bands. These included The Outcasts, The Trial, Big Self, and Ruefrex. He usually stayed with each of these bands for one to three years.

Playing with Dave Graney and the Coral Snakes

From 1987 to 1997, Gordy spent time playing bass for an Australian band. This group was called Dave Graney and the Coral Snakes. He played with them during different periods over those years.

A New Path
