The Gordon Highlanders Museum in Aberdeen, Scotland, tells the amazing story of the Gordon Highlanders. This famous army group started way back in 1794! They were first known as the 92nd Regiment of Foot. Later, in 1881, they became the Gordon Highlanders. In 1994, they joined a bigger army unit. Discovering the Museum's Past
The museum is inside a beautiful old house. A Scottish artist named Sir George Reid bought it in 1867. He lived and worked there for many years. In 1960, the War Office took over the house. Later, in 1994, it was given to the people who look after the regiment's history. They made it bigger and opened it as a museum in 1997.
