The Government of the Republic of South Ossetia is the group of people and organizations that lead the partially recognised Republic of South Ossetia. They make decisions and manage the country.
How South Ossetia is Led
South Ossetia has a President who is the country's main leader. The current President is Alan Gagloev. There is also a Prime Minister who helps the President run the government. The Prime Minister works with a group of ministers, who are like heads of different departments. The current Prime Minister is Konstantin Dzhussoev.
In 2009, the President at that time, Eduard Kokoity, changed the government's team. The previous Prime Minister, Aslanbek Bulatsev, left his job. Many ministers kept their roles for a while.
