Grace Quintanilla (born in 1967, died in 2019) was a talented artist from Mexico City. She was also a curator, which means she helped organize art shows. Grace was known for her work with new media art and digital culture. This type of art uses computers and technology.

Grace Quintanilla's Life and Work

Grace Quintanilla studied art in Scotland. She attended the Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design. There, she learned about television and electronic imaging.

She also often took part in a special program in Canada. This program was called "Interactive Screen." It was held at the Banff New Media Institute.

In 2002, Grace received an important award. The Rockefeller Foundation gave her a fellowship. This was for her interactive art project. It was called "Bits of Memory."

From 2012 until she passed away in 2019, Grace was the director of Centro de Cultura Digital. This is a special center in Mexico City. It focuses on digital culture and art.
