Grania Langrishe (born April 25, 1934) is a talented Irish artist. She is best known for her beautiful botanical illustrations. These are detailed paintings of plants and flowers.

Life Story of Grania Langrishe
Grania Sybil Enid Wingfield was born on April 25, 1934. Her father was the 9th Viscount Powerscourt, and her mother was Sheila Claude Beddington.
In 1955, Grania married Sir Hercules Ralph Hume Langrishe. They had four children together. One of their children, Atalanta Sue Pollock, also became an artist.
Early Life and Inspiration
Grania grew up at the amazing Powerscourt Estate in Ireland. During her childhood, her mother moved the family to Bermuda for a while. This time in Bermuda sparked Grania's lifelong love for plants.
She started painting plants using watercolors. Even though she didn't go to a formal art school, she became very skilled.
Artistic Career
In 1984, Grania Langrishe was chosen to join the Watercolour Society of Ireland. She often shows her artwork with this group. Her detailed illustrations have also been used in books about Irish trees and plants.
Today, Grania Langrishe lives in Arlonstown, near Dunsany, in County Meath, Ireland.
