Grete Berget facts for kids
Grete Anni Berget (25 March 1954 – 9 November 2017) was a Norwegian politician. She was a member of the Labour Party. She was born in Vinstra, Nord-Fron, Oppland.
Berget was private advisor to the Prime Minister Gro Harlem Brundtland from 1990 to 1991 and served as Minister of Children and Family Affairs from 1991 to 1996. From 2003 until her death, she was secretary general of the Norwegian European Movement.
Berget died from cancer on 9 November 2017 in Oslo at the age of 63.
