She performed in the first semi-final on February 16, 2013. The jury did not pick her to move forward at first. However, the public loved her song! She received the most votes from the public. This allowed her to advance to the final. In the final, she ended up in third place overall.

In the grand final on March 2, 2013, Grete performed last. The jury placed her fifth, but again, the public voted her first! This meant she made it to the superfinal. Only the top two artists compete in the superfinal. Grete competed against Birgit Õigemeel. Birgit won the public vote in the superfinal. Grete finished in an impressive second place.

Later Eesti Laul Appearances

Grete returned to Eesti Laul 2016 with her song "Stories Untold." She reached the final and finished in 7th place.

In Eesti Laul 2019, Grete competed with her song "Kui isegi kaotan." This time, her song did not make it to the final round.

Grete's most recent appearance was in Eesti Laul 2022. She performed as a featured artist with Andrei Zevakin. Their song was titled "Mis nüüd saab."
