György Handel's Football Journey
György Handel started his football journey in Hungary. He played for several different clubs throughout his career. He was known for being a forward, which means his main job was to score goals for his team.
Early Career and Youth Teams
György Handel began playing football when he was young. From 1973 to 1980, he was part of the youth team at Újpesti Dózsa. This is where he learned many of the skills that made him a great player.
Playing for Hungarian Clubs
After his youth years, György Handel joined professional clubs. He played for MTK–VM from 1980 to 1984. During this time, he played in 108 games and scored 32 goals. This showed he was a valuable player.
He then moved to Volán SC for a year, scoring 11 goals in 21 games. In 1985, he played briefly for Siófoki Bányász. He scored 4 goals in 10 matches there.
