Héctor Tizón (born October 21, 1929 – died July 30, 2012) was an important writer, journalist, lawyer, and judge from Argentina. He also worked as a diplomat, representing his country in other nations.

Héctor Tizón spent most of his life in Yala, a small town in Argentina, about 40 miles north of San Salvador de Jujuy. This was his family's home for many years.
