Hande Erçel's Early Life
Hande Erçel was born in a city called Bandırma in Turkey. She went to Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. There, she studied Traditional Turkish Arts. When she was 19, in 2012, she joined a beauty pageant in Azerbaijan. She did very well and came in second place!
Hande Erçel's Acting Career
Hande Erçel started her acting career in 2014. She quickly became very popular.
Early TV Roles
From 2015 to 2016, Hande played a character named Selin Yılmaz Mertoğlu. This was in the TV series Güneşin Kızları. It was shown on a channel called Kanal D.
After that, from 2016 to 2017, she starred as Hayat Uzun. This role was in the series Aşk Laftan Anlamaz. This show was broadcast on Show TV. Her acting in this series was so good that she won an award. She received the Best Female Comedy Actress award at the Golden Butterfly Awards.
Later TV Roles
In 2019, Hande appeared in two more TV series. She played Müjde Akay in the show Halka on TRT 1. She also played Azize Aksu Günay in the series Azize on Kanal D.
From 2020 to 2021, Hande took on the role of Eda Yıldız. This was in the very popular series Sen Çal Kapımı. It was shown on FOX. Most recently, from 2023 to 2024, she played Leyla Gediz. This role was in the series Bambaşka Biri, also on FOX. That series finished after 16 episodes.
Hande Erçel's Family Life
Hande Erçel's parents are Kaya Erçel and Aylin Erçel. She also has a sister named Gamze Erçel, who is also an actress. Sadly, Hande's mother, Aylin Erçel, passed away on January 10, 2019. She had been getting treatment for cancer for a long time.
