Helene Hokholt Olafsen (born 21 February 1990) is a well-known Norwegian television presenter. She was also a very successful snowboarder. She competed in a thrilling event called snowboard cross.

In snowboard cross, athletes race down a snowy course. The course has jumps, turns, and other obstacles. Helene was one of the best in the world. She finished fifth in her special event, boardercross, in the 2007-08 Snowboarding World Cup. She also won her first World Cup event in March 2007. Helene stopped competing in snowboarding in 2016.

Helene Olafsen has become a popular face on Norwegian television. She has appeared in several exciting shows.

Competing on Reality Shows

In 2017, Helene competed in Mesternes Mester. This show features former Norwegian athletes. They compete in different challenges to find the "Master of Masters." Helene finished as the runner-up in this competition.

Later in 2017, she won the 13th season of Skal vi danse. This is the Norwegian version of Dancing with the Stars. She danced with professional dancer Jørgen Nilsen. They won against actor Cengiz Al and Mai Mentzoni in the final.

Creating Hit Songs

In 2021, Helene took part in Norges nye megahit. This show had celebrities create their own hit songs. Helene sang a song called "Ludvig Daae." The song was named after a man who owned a slalom center. He had strong opinions about how people should behave on the slopes. Her song became very popular. It reached number one in Norway in December 2021.

Becoming a TV Host

Helene became a TV presenter for Skal vi danse: All Stars in 2022. She joined Anders Hoff, who had been a host since the 13th season.

Helene at the Olympics

Helene Olafsen competed in the 2010 Winter Olympics. These games were held in Vancouver, Canada. She made it all the way to the big final in Snowboard Cross. She finished in fourth place, just missing a medal. Canada's Maëlle Ricker won the gold medal for her home country.

Helene's Family Life

Helene Olafsen is married to Jørgen Nilsen. He was her professional dance partner on Skal vi danse. They started their relationship in 2017. The couple announced their engagement in 2019. They got married in April 2025. Helene and Jørgen have two children. Their son was born in March 2020. Their daughter was born in March 2022.
