Hello Mrs. Cherrywinkle was a fun and educational TV show for children. It first aired in 1996. The show followed the exciting adventures of Mrs. Cherrywinkle, who was played by Kathy "Babe" Robinson. She was a lively and energetic woman. Mrs. Cherrywinkle spent her time interacting with many different puppets in her home and garden.
About the Show
Mrs. Cherrywinkle was the main character of the show. She was known for her cheerful personality. The puppets in the show were very special. They were created by talented artists Noreen Young and Matt Ficner. These puppets helped Mrs. Cherrywinkle teach kids about different topics.
The music for the series was also a big part of the show. The songs were written by Randy Vancourt and Tim Burns. They helped make the learning experience even more enjoyable for young viewers.
Where it Aired
The show started in Canada on the Family Channel. Later, in 1999, American Public Television decided to bring the show to the United States. The company Coscient Group hoped to make even more episodes for PBS Kids if the show became popular in America.
However, the show's run in the United States was not as successful as planned. Because of this, the new episodes were not made for PBS Kids. Instead, they were produced for a French-language network in Canada called Télé-Québec. The show aired on Télé-Québec from 2000 to 2006.
