In 1984, Hiro started his music career with a band called Popsicle. A few years later, in 1987, he joined another band named Tulip. This was a big step for him, and he helped write some of Tulip's most famous songs.
After Tulip broke up in 1989, Hiro went back to playing with Popsicle for a little while.
Later, Hiro became very busy writing music for others. He composed many songs for anime (Japanese animation), TV shows, radio programs, and even stage plays. His music was used in a radio show called Nippon Hōsō Show Up Nighter for several years.
