Ho Wai-On (also known as Ann-Kay Lin) was born in 1946 in Hong Kong. She is a talented composer with both British and Chinese heritage.
About Ann-Kay Lin
Ann-Kay Lin grew up in Hong Kong. She later moved to London to study at the famous Royal Academy of Music. She received a special John Swire Scholarship to help with her studies.
At the Academy, Ann-Kay Lin studied singing and how to compose music. She also learned to play the piano from a great teacher named Max Pirani.
Sadly, a wrist injury stopped her from becoming a concert pianist. But this didn't stop her love for music! Instead, she decided to focus all her energy on composing.

Ann-Kay Lin has written many different kinds of music. She has composed for dance performances, including ballet. She also writes for small groups of musicians called chamber ensembles.
