Hollyn is the stage name for Holly Marie Wilson (born January 3, 1997). She is an American pop singer and songwriter. Hollyn sings a mix of pop and R&B music. She was on American Idol in 2013. She made it to the Hollywood rounds of the competition.
Hollyn released her first music collection, an EP called Hollyn, in 2015. She then released her first album, One-Way Conversations, in 2017. Her EP Bye, Sad Girl came out in 2019. Both were released with Gotee Records. Hollyn often works with TobyMac, who helped start Gotee Records.

About Hollyn's Life
Hollyn was born Holly Marie Miller on January 3, 1997. Her parents are Jamie Drew Miller and Tammy Lynn Miller. She grew up in Waverly, Ohio, and has a younger brother named Michael.
On November 16, 2018, Hollyn got engaged to Dillon Wilson. He is a pastor at Oaks Church in Red Oak, Texas. They got married on December 31, 2018. The couple welcomed their daughter, Jonas Lovey Wilson, on March 16, 2022.
Hollyn's Music Career
Hollyn began her music journey in 2013. She appeared on season 12 of American Idol. She reached the Hollywood week before leaving the show.
Working with TobyMac
Hollyn was featured on TobyMac's album This Is Not a Test. She sang on the songs "Backseat Driver" and "Lights Shine Bright." She also appeared in TobyMac's song "Funky Jesus Music." This song became popular on Christian music charts.
First EP and Albums
Her first extended play, Hollyn, was released on October 16, 2015. It was released by Gotee Records. The song "Alone," which featured Truett Foster, became a hit. It reached No. 11 on the Billboard Christian Airplay chart. Her EP also reached No. 10 on the Billboard Christian Albums chart.
On July 14, 2016, she released a single called "Love With Your Life." Hollyn's first full album, One-Way Conversations, came out on February 10, 2017. She released another single, "Hola!", on September 15, 2017.
How Hollyn Got Signed
Gotee Records' TobyMac discovered Hollyn after watching her videos online. He contacted her father through a friend. They later worked together on her song "Alone." Hollyn shared that she was inspired by a Bible verse, Isaiah 30:21, while writing the song. The verse says, "Whether you look to the left or the right, you will hear a voice saying, 'This is the way. Walk in it.'"
