Howards End facts for kids
Howards End is a novel by E. M. Forster, first published in 1910. it is about social conventions, personal relationships and conflicting values in Edwardian England.
Some people think Howards End was Forster's best piece of work. In 1998, the Modern Library ranked Howards End 38th on its list of the 100 best English-language novels of the 20th century. It was adapted into a film in 1992 starring Anthony Hopkins, Vanessa Redgrave, Emma Thompson, and Helena Bonham Carter. It was directed by James Ivory. It was nominated for 9 Academy Awards and won 3 Academy Awards.
