Huggins is a small place in the United States that doesn't have its own official local government. It's called an unincorporated community. You can find Huggins in the western part of Texas County, Missouri. It's about 13 miles west of a town called Houston. Huggins is located near Route M, which is about two miles north of Route 38. Another nearby place is Bendavis.
History
Huggins got its name from an important person in its past! A post office, which is where you send and receive mail, has been open in Huggins since 1885. The community was named after Francis M. Huggins. He was an early postmaster, which is the person in charge of a post office.
