Hugh ("Hughie") Cochrane (born February 9, 1943 – died August 17, 2020) was a Scottish professional footballer. He played as an inside forward, which is a type of attacking player. Hughie was born in Glasgow, Scotland.
He started his football journey playing for a junior team called Dennistoun Waverley. Junior football often means amateur or youth leagues. Later, in 1961, he signed with Dundee United.
