Hyattsville is a small community located in Garrard County, Kentucky, in the United States. It is known as an unincorporated community. This means it doesn't have its own local government, like a city or town would.
The community is found along two roads, Route 52 and Route 1295. It is located to the east of Lancaster, which is the main town and the county seat for Garrard County. Hyattsville sits at an elevation of about 1,040 feet (317 meters) above sea level.

Its Name and History
Hyattsville was named after a person called Allen Hiatt. He was the first owner of the land where the community is now located.
For many years, Hyattsville had its own post office. It was open from 1869 until 1917. This post office helped people send and receive mail in the area.
