His Music Journey
Becoming Famous in 2015
iLoveMemphis released his first song, "Hit the Quan", on July 4, 2015. A producer named Buck Nasty created the music for it. The "Hit the Quan" dance was first shown by another rapper, Rich Homie Quan. He did the dance in his music video for "Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh)" in April 2015.
The dance quickly became very popular. Many short videos, called Vines, showed people doing the dance. At first, people just called it the "Rich Homie Quan" dance. Then, in July 2015, iLoveMemphis released his song. He said it only cost him $35 to make the song. The music video for "Hit the Quan" came out around the world on November 12, 2015. Later that year, on December 18, 2015, his second song, "Lean and Dabb", was released.
