The ISG business school (also known as Institut Superieur de Gestion) is a well-known business school located in Paris, France. It helps students learn how to manage businesses and become leaders.
The school was started in 1967 by a group of French business leaders. In 1983, ISG opened campuses in New York City and Tokyo. Today, ISG works with over 160 universities around the world.
ISG offers different study programs, including BBAs (for undergraduate students) and MBAs (for graduate students). Some main study areas are Marketing, Finance, Technology, and Luxury management.
The French Ministry of Education fully approves ISG. This means it can give out official degrees on behalf of the state. ISG has 10 campuses across France and Europe. It is part of the IONIS Education Group, which is the largest private education group in France.
A Look at ISG's History
ISG Paris first opened its doors in 1967. Later, in 1982 and 1984, the school opened new campuses in Tokyo and New York City. In 1985, ISG started its first partnership with a university in China.
In 1997, the school joined the IONIS Education Group. This group helps many different schools work together. In 2004, the French Ministry of National Education officially recognized ISG's diplomas.
The school also became a member of UNIDO in 2006. In 2009, the French State recognized ISG to give out Master's degrees. The same year, ISG became a member of the AACSB, which is a big organization for business schools.
In 2012, ISG became a member of the Conférence des grandes écoles. This is a group of top French engineering and business schools.
Since 2013, the IONIS Education Group has been working to create programs for employees. These programs help people who are already working to learn new skills. ISG also has a special agreement with EAN University in Bogotá, Colombia, for students to get two degrees.
In 2014, ISG Business School started a new branch called Moda Domani Institute. This part of the school focuses on luxury, fashion, and design. It is now known as ISG Luxury Management.
In 2021, ISG launched a new program for sports management. This program is approved by the NBA, which is the National Basketball Association!
