Ibtissam Tiskat (Arabic: إبتسام تسكت) is a singer and actress from Morocco. She was born on October 3, 1992. She became well-known after appearing on two popular TV shows: Arab Idol (in its second season) and Star Academy Arab World (in its tenth season). Her first official song, "N'dir Mabghit" (Arabic: ندير ما بغيت), came out in September 2014.

Ibtissam Tiskat was a contestant on the tenth season of Star Academy. During her time on the show, she was given the special title of 'Miss Star Academy'.

She was nominated to leave the show twice. The first time, the public voted for her to stay, and she received the highest number of votes that season! The second time she was nominated, she was up against another contestant from Tunisia, Ghada Jeriedi. Ibtissam did not get enough public votes to stay, and she left the show.

Music Career: 2014 to Today

After Star Academy, Ibtissam continued to release new music.

  • In March 2015, she released her second song, "Maghribiya wa Aftakhir" (Arabic: مغربية وأفتخر). This means "I am Moroccan and I am proud."
  • In April 2015, she worked with Abdel-salam Alzayed on a song called "Enta Ya" (Arabic: أنت يــا).
  • In August 2015, she was featured on a song by Two Tone called "Weli Liya" (Arabic: ولي ليا).
  • In 2016, Ibtissam released her first song in the Khaliji style, "MAFI MEN HABIBI." This song was very popular.
  • She also won an award called the Murex d'Or for being the best rising star in the Middle East and North Africa region.
  • In December 2016, she released her fifth song, "MENEK WLA MENI," which is in the Moroccan dialect. This song was a huge success and was the number one hit on Moroccan radio for four months!
