Ilana Vered is a very talented concert pianist and a piano teacher. She was born in Tel Aviv, Israel, on December 6, 1943. She has performed all over the world. She has also taught many students.

Biography

Early Life and Training

Ilana Vered started her music journey at a young age. When she was 13, she went to the Paris Conservatoire. This is a famous music school in Paris, France. She studied piano there for two years. She won first prize in piano when she graduated. Her teachers included Vlado Perlemuter and Jeanne-Marie Darré.

After Paris, she continued her studies in the United States. She attended the Juilliard School. This is another very famous music school in New York City. There, she learned from Rosina Lhévinne. In 1961, she won the Young Concert Artists International Auditions. This award helped her start her career.

World-Renowned Performances

Ilana Vered has played with many of the world's best orchestras. She has performed with the New York Philharmonic and the Boston Symphony. She also played with the London Symphony and the Israel Philharmonic. She has worked with famous conductors too. Some of them include Zubin Mehta and Georg Solti.
