Description: The so-called Aubusson mortar bombards, the largest known in the world both by its dimensions and its mass, (caliber: 580 mm, length: 1.95 m / mass: 3.325 t), made for the defense of Rhodes at the request of Pierre d'Aubusson, grand master of the Order of Hospitallers of Saint-Jean-de-Jerusalem during the first half of the 15th century, kept at the Musée de l'Armée (Hotel des Invalides) in Paris.
