British expedition led by Chris Bonington In two references Bonington shows a plan of the camp locations superimposed on a photograph of the mountain. The photo seems to have been taken from very much the same location (presumably Base Camp) as File:Annapurna Base Camp Range 1.jpg and with similar snow and lighting conditions.
