Description: Chef Toni Tipton-Martin judges a chili recipe prepared for the Second Annual U. S. Department of Agriculture Chili Challenge Contest to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at USDA in Washington, DC, on Thursday, October 6, 2011. Employee chef volunteers along with Celebrity chefs used chili’s in delicious recipes to celebrate Hispanic cuisine. USDA’s traditional Chili Challenge trophy will be awarded to this year’s best-tasting chili. Other judges for the challenge along with Chef Tipton-Martin were Chef Lemin and Chef Matamoros, Chef Toni Tipton-Martin, Ed Avalos, Undersecretary, Marketing and Regulatory Programs and Krista Hardin, Chief of Staff.
