She is part of the big seven (the 7 main characters according to J.K. Rowling) and was one of the most interesting characters in the series. She was a huge fan of Harry Potter herself, which is how she auditioned for the role of Luna Lovegood and got it! Evanna portrayed the character of Luna Lovegood so good that she also became a fan favourite, because of her amazing rendering of the quirky, shy and lovely character. Evanna was also the character that J.K. Rowling was inspired by directly and confessed to have written the rest of Luna's role keeping Evanna's portrayal and voice in mind.
