Description: Tennesse Valley Railroad Museum, Southern Railway 4501 a 2-8-2 "Mikado" type steam locomotive. Built in 1911 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works for the Southern Railway. Frst 2-8-2 wheel arrangement owned by Southern, 4501 served the Southern Railway hauling freight until being retired in 1966.
