Description: A nice lunchtime visit to Quainton Road today to swap some GPO uniforms for some street jewelry not central to their collection. It is a great site with a fantastic collection of signs and railwayana.. I then put up the drone to take a look at the huge works for HS2 that pass by the site and cut off the former Great CEntral Railway route to the north. The road bridge has been infilled to strengthen it for HS2 construction traffic. The southern stop block on the GC mainline is just at the end of their site, with disused track stretching away towards Aylesbury Vale Parkway.
