Description: This is the rare Mt. Diablo Manzanita, Arctostaphylos auriculata. It quickly became one of my favorite species of manzanita, there is also one other species in this set, though I forget the name. Arctostaphylos auriculata is the one with grey-ish foliage and leaves that point upwards. It's flower bracts point upwards, as well.
