Image: A malnourished child in an MSF treatment tent in Dolo Ado

Description: An underfed child in an Medicins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders) treatment tent in the Dolo Ado camp, near Ethiopia's border with Somalia. The United Nations has recently declared a famine in five regions of Somalia, and millions of people are at risk of severe hunger and starvations across the Horn of Africa (Somalia, Ethiopia and Kenya). Malnutrition rates amongst young children in the Dolo Ado camps are up to three times the emergency thresholds.
