Description: Often referred to as "Cattle of Kings", the ancestry of these cattle dates back more than 6,000 years. They were imported from Africa by European zoos during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The Cattle may be spotted or solid. The horns are long and symmetrical with a base large and proportional to horn length. The cattle tolerate temperature and weather extremes well. The large horns act as radiators; blood circulating throughout he horn area is cooled and then returned to the main body. This allows excess heat to be dispersed. They also use those horns to charge at you when you are taking their pictures. This is about five seconds before the charge. Run AWAY!
