Issue of Ubayd Allah ibn Abi Bakra, governor (fl. 79-80 / AD 698-699). SK (Sijistan) mint. Dated AH 80 in Pahlavi (AD 698/9). Crowned Sasanian-style bust right; bismillah and rabbi in Arabic in outer margin / Fire altar flanked by attendants; star and crescent flanking flames; pellet after mint signature. SICA I 370 var. (no pellet); Walker, Arab-Sasanian –; Album 37; ICV 50. Good VF, minor deposits.
