Description: The historic Avery Depot (built 1909), located on St. Joe River Road in Avery, Idaho, United States, is listed on the US National Register of Historic Places. It served as a refuge and departure point for residents escaping the Great Fire of 1910 on the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad. As of the photo date, the left-hand portion of the building is occupied by the Avery post office.
