Description: Azurite, Malachite Locality: Bisbee, Warren District, Mule Mts, Cochise County, Arizona, USA (Locality at mindat.org) Size: 8.3 x 6.4 x 3.9 cm. Another old-timer from the great Bisbee mining district. There is a vug on either side of this specimen, one with sparkling rosettes of deep blue azurite on a field of malachite, and the other with the botryoidal malachite more prominent. There is very little limonitic matrix here; this specimen is almost all azurite and malachite. Ex. Dave Stoudt Collection.
