Description: The Babcock Building (1907) and overhanging Skypoint structure (2002) in downtown Billings, Montana, at the corner of North Broadway and 2nd Avenue North. The Babcock Building is anchored by the Babcock Theatre, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The marquee is visible on the right. Note how the theater is taller than the rest of the building. This photo was taken during the beginning stages of the restoration of the 2-way street grid in downtown Billings. The construction cones on the far right mark where a stoplight mast will be installed, allowing for a westbound traffic lane on 2nd Avenue North.
