Description: Photograph taken in January 2025 of a baptismal font dedicated to the memory of three children of Samuel Colt and Elizabeth Hart Jarvis Colt. The 1869 sculpture by John M. Moffitt was a gift from Elizabeth's sister, Hettie Hart Beach, and is located at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Hartford, Connecticut.[1] In 1899, the font fell through the church floor and into the cellar; both the font and the floor were repaired.[2]
