Description: Bernice "Bee" Haydu is interviewed June 5, 2014, at Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala. Haydu is a veteran pilot of World War II. She earned her wings with the Women Airforce Service Pilots, the first women to fly American military aircraft. She also helped lead the fight in Congress to recognize WASP members as veterans.
