Description: Title: The southern part of Russia, a.k.a. Muscovy from "Theatrum Orbis Terrarum, sive Atlas Novus in quo Tabulæ et Descriptiones Omnium Regionum, Editæ a Guiljel et Ioanne Blaeu" (Theater of the World, or a New Atlas of Maps and Representations of All Regions, Edited by Willem and Joan Blaeu), 1645. Among numerous topographical mistakes there is a canal (Fossa Kamouz, non-existent at the time) between Don (Tanais flux) and Volga (Wolga olim Rha flux) near right side of the map at latitude what the author thought to be 51° N.
