Description: Boclair House, Bearsden, Scotland. Until recently used by East Dunbartonshire Coucil as offices for their Education Department, it is currently (Apr 2015) being converted into a hotel with housing to the rear. Built in 1890 as Buchanan Retreat by three members of the Buchanan family as a retirement home for family members, the house was under-utilised and was subsequently taken over by Bearsden Burgh in 1962.
